The PAPAN Project: developing the poultry sector in the Ivory Coast
The Ivorian government has chosen Rota Guido to modernise the national poultry sector and develop the production chain.
THE OBJECTIVE
A strategic plan for the Ivory Coast’s self-sufficiency in poultry production
The Ministry of Animal Resources and Fisheries of the Ivory Coast, as part of the National Programme for the Support of Poultry Production (PAPAN – Programme National de Soutien à la Production Avicole), has entrusted Rota Guido with the implementation of an ambitious development plan dedicated to the national poultry sector.
The goal? To reduce dependence on imports and build a self-sufficient, modern and sustainable production network.
A NEW ERA FOR IVORIAN POULTRY FARMING
From design to construction
The project involves the construction of 150 farms, each housing 10,000 broiler chickens (1,500,000 birds in total), and 90 farms, each housing 10,000 laying hens (900,000 birds in total) .
Rota Guido will coordinate the management of more than 120 construction sites across the country, ensuring technical, structural and health and hygiene standards of a European standard.
