SUSTAINABILITY AS A CORPORATE PHILOSOPHY
Building today with tomorrow in mind
For Rota Guido, sustainability is not an option, but a duty towards the economy, the environment and society. Already operating in full compliance with the Single Environmental Authorisation (AUA) and actively collecting data on its energy consumption, the company has begun the process of drafting its annual sustainability report, a tool for monitoring and transparently communicating the actions and impacts of its production activities.

Eco-friendly practices promoted at Rota’s facilities
With a view to increasing environmental responsibility, Rota Guido has implemented a series of concrete measures aimed at improving efficiency, reducing waste and ensuring the responsible management of resources.
RENEWABLE ENERGY
Photovoltaic system integrated into the production site
A 150 kW photovoltaic system has been installed at the Corte de’ Frati (CR) plant, capable of delivering annual savings of approximately 88,000 kg of CO₂ equivalent, thereby making a significant contribution to reducing the energy footprint.
PRODUCTION INNOVATION
Industry 4.0 factory and efficient resource management
The construction of a new Industry 4.0 production facility, equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, goes hand in hand with the consistent and efficient management of waste materials: stainless steel and iron are recovered and reintroduced into the economic cycle, reducing waste and making the most of resources.
ENERGY EFFICIENCY
LED lighting to reduce energy consumption
Upgrading the lighting system with LED technology enables a significant reduction in energy consumption, whilst improving the quality and comfort of the working environment.
REDUCING PLASTIC USE
In-house solutions for more responsible consumption
A water dispenser has been installed at the Corte de’ Frati office with the aim of reducing the use of single-use plastic and encouraging more sustainable behaviour among staff.
DIGITAL AND SUPPLY CHAIN SUSTAINABILITY
aDoormore: actively promoting sustainable models
Rota Guido also has a significant presence on aDoormore, a B2B digital platform dedicated to the agricultural and livestock sector. This is a strategic channel for promoting sustainable farming models, showcasing our design expertise and keeping pace with the sector’s evolution, driven by innovation, balanced management and a long-term vision.

In compliance with Legislative Decree 231/2001, the company has adopted an Organisational Management and Control Model, which was approved by the minutes of the Board of Directors’ meeting held on 3 December 2018.
